I Was Rejected for

By the time I was 3, I was already showing signs of independence—
Quietly reading alone, dreaming up big ideas.
But instead of being celebrated, I was rejected. Misunderstood. Too bold. Too different.
Like a lion cub forced out of the pride, I had no choice but to figure life out on my own— Building unshakable self-worth that didn’t depend on anyone else.
That early pain became my power.

I had to build my life from scratch.
No safety net. No traditional path. And that’s what made all the difference.

I’m a Gen X mom of 3 Gen Z daughters with 25+ years in education and mentoring. After immigrating to the U.S. with $600 and no college degree, I carved my own path to freedom — not through perfection, but through courage, creativity, and resilience.
